This wood dapping block has 6 shallow dapping depressions for forming metal. Wood is hard enough that it will hold up to hammer strikes, but soft enough that it will not mark or scratch your metal. The dapping depressions measure: 1.29, 1.32, 1.4, 1.57, 1.6, and 1.74" (32.9, 33.6, 35.6, 39.8, 40.5, 44.3 mm). Block measures 2.13 x 2.25 x 2.19" (5.4 x 5.7 x 5.5 cm). The two punches are slightly different shapes for conforming to the different dapping depressions. One is slightly more domed and measures 18 mm in diameter. The other one is slightly flatter and measures 14 mm in diameter. Punches are 4" (10 cm) in length.
